Project Beauty is a national campaign established by renowned senior photographer, Thomas Nguyen. While leading the industry with exceptional portraits he also initiated a growing movement across the country. Jacie Leigh & Co was invited to take part in this incredible campaign in 2020. The primary message and goal is to “help free girls from the idea of perfection and empower them to not only feel confident about themselves, but to embrace the flaws that make them so uniquely beautiful and to also allow those to come forward and have the strenth and courage to tell their story and to serve as an ambassador and a voice to those that have none.” Thomas Nguyen.
Every year these are always some of the most favorite images. There is raw beauty and emotion, all the while we are getting to know each other and capture stunning black and white, timeless portraits. There is a calm happiness and sincerity during these sessions which is only truly experience during the Project Beauty studio session.
